Making Authentic Connections for Suicide Prevention

We’d like to invite you to a COMMUNITY DIALOGUE focused on MAKING AUTHENTIC CONNECTIONS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE

on Wednesday, June 25th from 5:30 – 8pm @ Faith Christian Reformed Church,1600 Silver Lake Road NW, New Brighton, MN.

The discussion, “Making Authentic Connections for Suicide Prevention”, will focus on connecting with youth in our communities, and knowing how to Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) when a young person is struggling with emotional distress and contemplating suicide.

Please consider inviting anyone who may be interested in this topic.  This is a FREE community event and ALL are invited!

We think youth, ages 16 and up, would enrich this discussion as well as faith community partners, practitioners and volunteers working with youth this summer.

We will also have an Interpreter at this event if any of our Spanish-speaking community members would like to attend!

Please RSVP to Peggy Huot Hansen @ Peggy.Huot-Hansen@isd623.org
