Project UROK (“You are OK”) is a new non-profit video platform featuring candid videos with comedians, actors and other public figures talking frankly about their mental health and how they came to accept themselves. The project’s goal is to create a sense of community for youth with mental health challenges and assure them that they aren’t alone in their struggles.
Project UROK is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by Jenny Jaffe. To learn more about Jenny Jaffe and the rest of the Project UROK team, click here. Their mission is to create funny, meaningful videos for teenagers struggling with mental health issues, made by people who have been there before. In doing so, we will provide not only practical assistance, but also a sense of belonging, a sense of comfort, and a sense of hope.
